Day 23: June 6

Today we visit the City Hall in Curitiba where we spoke with Secretary of Energy. We learned about the new renewable energy initiatives the state has proposed to implement in the near future. We also got to tour the area around the city hall, which is surrounded by nature! Then we left Curitiba for our next adventure, Foz do Iguacu!

We leave Sao Paulo and head to our next city- Curitiba! We are looking forward to seeing and learning about the Sustainable City. Our first evening in Curitiba, we toured downtown and had dinner at a wonderful hamburger place.

Today we visited the Museu do Futebol and learned about how important futebol (soccer) is here in Brazil.  We then to Ibirapuera park, which is a large park in Sao Paulo (similar to Central Park in NYC). We played soccer and volleyball and got to see some of the nature that the park had to offer.
