Day 17: May 31

Today is our last full day in Sao Paulo. We spent it going to Mercadao- the municipal market in downtown Sao Paulo. There are many fruits and foods local to Brazil at the market. We then walked to Liberdade, the part of Sao Paulo that has been influences by many asian cultures.

We leave Sao Paulo and head to our next city- Curitiba! We are looking forward to seeing and learning about the Sustainable City. Our first evening in Curitiba, we toured downtown and had dinner at a wonderful hamburger place.

Day 11: May 25

Today we visited the Museu do Futebol and learned about how important futebol (soccer) is here in Brazil.  We then to Ibirapuera park, which is a large park in Sao Paulo (similar to Central Park in NYC). We played soccer and volleyball and got to see some of the nature that the park had to offer.
